Daarmee zijn alle 52 turbines in minder dan vijf maanden geplaatst.\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003E“Met de laatste turbine is het bouwen op zee grotendeels klaar, maar het echte leerwerk begint nu”, zegt Tjalling de Bruin, directeur van Ecowende. “Ecowende is ontworpen om kennis op te doen over hoe je een windpark kunt bouwen in harmonie met de natuur. Die kennis willen we delen, zodat ook onderzoekers en andere windparkontwikkelaars ermee verder kunnen.”\u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Ch2\u003E\u003Cb\u003ETurbines van Vestas, transport door Van Oord\u003C/b\u003E\u003C/h2\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003EVestas leverde de turbines van het type V236-15.0 MW en installeerde de turbines bovenop de funderingen (monopillaren). Van Oord verzorgde het transport, vanuit de Eemshaven, met het installatieschip Boreas. De internationale waterbouwer zette eerder ook al de funderingen zelf op hun plaats en legde de kabels tussen de tubines.  \u003C/p\u003E\r\n\u003Cp\u003E“Onze mensen hebben hun expertise in alle installatiefasen ingezet: bij de funderingen, de kabels tussen de turbines, de erosiebescherming en het transport van de turbines naar zee”, zegt Jan Willem Elleswijk, projectdirecteur bij Van Oord. “De succesvolle inzet van ons nieuwe offshore installatieschip Boreas laat zien wat het schip in deze complexe installatiecampagne kan presteren.
