1500e Shell-laadpunt in garages Q-Park in Nederland
Shell Recharge, een dochterbedrijf van Shell, heeft maandag 26 februari het 1500e laadpunt in de parkeergarages van Q-Park in Nederland geplaatst: bij Q-Park Nieuwendijk Amsterdam. Daarmee zetten het energiebedrijf en de parkeerdienstverlener gezamenlijk hun bijdrage aan verdere verduurzaming van het wegverkeer voort.

De samenwerking tussen Shell en Q-Park gaat terug naar 2012, toen het eerste Shell-laadpunt in een parkeergarage in Nederland werd geopend. Inmiddels zijn er meer dan 126 Q-Park-locaties met de Shell-laders uitgerust. De twee bedrijven zullen de komende tijd verder gaan met het installeren van (snel)laders op Q-Park-locaties.
Daarnaast openden Shell en Q-Park in oktober de Mobility Hub Den Haag Centrum. Daar komen naast parkeren en (snel)laden ook andere diensten samen. Zo heeft de Mobility Hub Den Haag Centrum een Shell Café, een stomerij en wasservice, vergaderzaal, werkplekken, deelfietsen en deelscooters. (Lees hier meer over de Mobility Hub Den Haag Centrum)

1500th Shell EV-charger at Q-Park garages in the Netherlands

On Monday 26 February, Shell Recharge, a subsidiary of Shell, installed the 1500th EV charger in a Q-Park parking garages in the Netherlands: at Q-Park Nieuwendijk Amsterdam. In doing so, the energy company and the parking service provider are jointly continuing their involvement in making road traffic more sustainable.
The collaboration between Shell and Q-Park goes back to 2012, when the first Shell EV charger was commissioned in a parking garage in the Netherlands. More than 126 Q-Park locations are now equipped with Shell EV chargers. The two companies will continue installing more regular and fast EV chargers at Q-Park sites.
Shell and Q-Park also opened the Mobility Hub The Hague Centre in October 2023. Here, other services were added to parking and EV charging facilities. The Mobility Hub The Hague Centre includes a Shell Café, a dry cleaning and laundry service, a meeting room, workplaces, shared bicycles, and shared scooters.
