Vernieuwd Safety Center voor Shell Pernis
11 nov. 2019

In the past 5 years, more than 58,000 people followed this training. Wanting to keep up with safety training,
[Video footage]
Workers enter the centre and watch a safety video on a big screen. They use an interactive screen.
[Voice Over: Amo Hoornweg]
and to retain that knowledge for longer, we have completely adapted the safety centre to what it is now.
Groups of workers discuss what they are viewing in the different safety videos.
[Voice Over: Amo Hoornweg]
We have contemporary learning methods, a realistic working environment and the training is more efficient because we give people function-oriented training.
We pan across to view different safety props and signs that the centre has.
[Voice Over: Amo Hoornweg]
For example, a fieldworker gets different training than an electrician.

And it’s fun to do of course!

The training is complete when you have done an e-learning session, a test and a walk through to experience the centre.
